“No child should work to survive“
Protecting Childhood. Advancing SDG 4 & Eliminating Child Labor
Child labor undermines both education systems and long-term economic development. It also limits children’s potential and reduces their future opportunities.
At Nama Foundation, we recognize that child labor is not an isolated issue. Instead, it is deeply connected to poverty, lack of education, and limited access to economic opportunities. Therefore, addressing it requires a comprehensive and systems-based approach.
Our interventions are fully aligned with global development priorities, including:
SDG 4: Quality Education
SDG 8.7: Eradication of Child Labor
SDG 1: No Poverty
We work on addressing root causes through economic support, improved access to education, and continuous community awareness programs.
Our 2026 Targets
By 2026, we aim to:
✅Reintegrate 5,000 children into formal education.
✅Reduce child labor by 30% in targeted communities.
✅Reach 20,000 families through awareness and support programs.
These targets reflect our commitment to measurable and sustainable impact.
Impact Contribution to SDGs
Our programs contribute to:
Increasing school retention and attendance rates.
Reducing economic vulnerability among families.
Promoting safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environments.
In addition, we focus on strengthening family resilience to ensure long-term protection for children.
How we work
Our model focuses on identifying at-risk children, supporting their families economically, and ensuring long-term school reintegration.
We invite international organizations, development agencies, and corporate partners to join us. Together, we can scale effective solutions, eliminate child labor, and ensure that every child has access to education and a safe future.
Because sustainable development starts with protecting childhood.
We are seeking funding partners to scale this model and reach 5,000 children by 2026.
